The H8 is defined by its 8" structural channel frame.

• The Benefit: The larger frame provides the necessary bridge strength for trailers that are often 30' to 40' long. It significantly reduces "trailer bounce" when empty and prevents sagging when loaded with heavy point-load equipment like tractors or backhoes.

• 14K Model: Equipped with Dual 7,000 lb Dexter EZ-Lube Axles. This is the standard "heavy-duty" setup for most hotshotting and farm use.

• 21K Model: Steps up to Triple 7,000 lb Dexter EZ-Lube Axles. The third axle provides a massive 21,000 lb GVWR, allowing for payloads of roughly 14,500 to 16,500 lbs depending on the trailer's length.

Every H8 Gooseneck comes standard with dual 10K jacks.

• The Benefit: Having two jacks is essential for goosenecks. It provides a stable, wide-base foundation when uncoupled and gives you a combined 20,000 lbs of lifting power to level the trailer while it’s carrying a load.

Standard on the H8 is the 102" wide deck configuration featuring Heavy Duty Drive-Over Fenders.

• The Benefit: Unlike standard fenders that can be crushed, these are built from heavy-duty steel plate, allowing you to drive wide-track equipment (like dual-wheel trucks or wide-track skid steers) directly over the fenders to use the full 102" width.

Lamar equips the H8 with a 30,000 lb rated adjustable gooseneck coupler.

• The Benefit: Even on the 14K model, the 30K coupler provides a massive safety factor. Being adjustable allows you to dial in the height to match your truck's bed perfectly, ensuring the trailer pulls level and distributes weight evenly across all axles.

The H8 features a Dovetail paired with slide-in or stand-up ramps.

• The Benefit: The  dovetail creates a much shallower loading angle (approximately 12°–15°). This is critical for loading long-wheelbase vehicles or equipment that might otherwise "high-center" on a shorter transition.

Built into the gooseneck risers is a large, lockable front toolbox.

• The Benefit: This keeps your essential gear—chains, binders, straps, and jacks—protected from the weather and secure from theft. It’s an essential feature for commercial operators who live out of their trailers.

• The 3-1 Warranty: You get the 3-Year Structural Warranty on the frame and a 1-Year Component Warranty. For a trailer that may be 40 feet long, having the main 8" frame guaranteed for three years is a huge selling point.

• Arctic Cold Weather Harness: Standard for 2026, the -65°F rated wiring harness stays flexible in freezing temperatures. This prevents the common issue of trailer lights or brakes failing due to cracked, brittle wiring in winter.

• Sandblasted & Powder Coated: Lamar uses a rigorous sandblasting prep followed by an industrial powder coat. This process creates a finish that is much more resistant to rock chips and road chemicals than traditional spray paint.
