• Reinforced Tubular Steel Main Frame

  The DCB is built on a reinforced tube frame.

  • The Benefit: Unlike many budget dump trailers that use channel steel, the tube frame provides superior torsional rigidity. It sheds unnecessary weight to increase your legal payload capacity while preventing the "twist" often seen in lighter frames.

• TH-516 / TH-520 Scissor Hoist System

  Depending on the size, the DCB features a heavy-duty scissor hoist as standard equipment.

  • The Benefit: A scissor hoist provides more lifting power and a much more stable dump cycle than a single-cylinder ram. It distributes the load evenly across the frame, reducing the risk of frame racking on uneven ground.

• 10-Gauge Smooth Steel Floor

  While others use thinner 12-gauge or 11-gauge steel, Norstar equips the DCB with a thick 10-gauge floor.

  • The Benefit: This thicker steel is more resistant to "oil canning" (warping) and can withstand the impact of heavy rocks, concrete, and construction debris without denting or puncturing.

• Multi-Function Barn Door Gate

  The rear features heavy-duty barn doors with top-and-bottom latches.

  • The Benefit: This design ensures the box remains rigid even when hauling heavy loads. The double-latch system prevents the gate from bowing and makes it easy to open even when the trailer is slightly off-level.

• Integrated Tarp System with Shroud

  Every DCB comes standard with a front-mounted tarp system and a protective bolt-on tarp shield (shroud).

  • The Benefit: This keeps you compliant with "covered load" laws and protects the tarp from wind damage and road debris when it’s rolled up.
