While most tandem-axle goosenecks on the market are built with standard mill-run I-beams, the FMAX 207 uses Diamond C’s patented Engineered Beam technology. 14" Low-Profile Engineered Beam 2.0Unlike competitors who use standard 12" I-beams, Diamond C fabricates their own 14" Engineered Beams in-house using high-strength Grade 50 and Grade 100 steel.
