Unlike many entry-level trailers that use "Z-post" or formed channel for the main frame, the Passport uses tubular steel main rails (2" x 3" for single axles and 2" x 4" for tandem axles). This provides superior rigidity and prevents the frame from twisting or flexing under load.

The floor is constructed from 3/4" PlexCore, which is a high-performance engineered wood product. It is significantly more water-resistant than standard plywood and resists swelling and delamination, which is critical for the longevity of an enclosed trailer.

The Passport comes standard with a stylish V-Nose design. Beyond just looking better, this profile reduces wind drag, improving the fuel economy of your tow vehicle and providing better handling in crosswinds compared to flat-front trailers.

Haulmark doesn't cut corners on the running gear. It features 15" radial tires (which run cooler and last longer than bias-ply) and E-Z Lube hubs. These hubs allow you to grease the bearings with a standard grease gun without having to disassemble the entire hub.

The 2026 model features full LED exterior lighting, including slim-line tail lights. LEDs are brighter, last longer, and draw less power from your vehicle than traditional incandescent bulbs. It also includes an interior 12V LED dome light for night-time loading.

To fight off rust and corrosion—especially in the "salt belt"—the entire steel chassis of the Passport is factory undercoated. This protective barrier is a standard feature that helps maintain the structural integrity and resale value of the trailer.

A 16" Starbright aluminum stoneguard is mounted to the front of the trailer. This protects the exterior finish from road debris and rock chips, keeping the trailer looking new even after miles of highway travel.
